What is Marian Consecration?

Do you feel a little stagnant in your devotion to God?

On February 21, Holy Cross will begin a preparations to do a Marian consecration on the Feast of the Annunciation, March 25.

If you want to supercharge your relationship with Jesus and start making things happen in your spiritual life, this program is definitely for you!

What is Marian consecration?

Marian consecration is the act of entrusting your spiritual life to Our Blessed Mother, Mary. It’s asking Mary to take control.

Think about when you were a kid. Your mother made sure everything was set up for you. She cooked and cleaned for you. Made sure you were dressed, got to school, and had lunch money. She organized your homework and helped you get it done if you were stuck.

You trusted her to make things happen for you, she came through for you. It was that simple.

Don’t you sometimes wish you still had a mother to smooth out the rough spots in your life? Someone who could make sure everything worked out the way it was supposed to?

Our Spiritual Mother

Perhaps you don’t have a mother like that anymore. If you’re an adult, you’re 100% responsible for what happens in your life. However, you still have a spiritual Mother that can take care of things for you in your life of faith.

Mary can take care of you like that if you’ll entrust your spiritual well-being to her.

Consecration to Mary is the spirituality of allowing Mary to have everything you have and everything you are. You entrust yourself to her and give her all your spiritual merits. In turn, she works things for you.

The quickest, surest, and easiest way to holiness

Marian consecration is the quickest, surest, and easiest way to holiness…guaranteed.

Don’t believe it? In this program you’ll study four powerhouse Saints and their writings on consecration to Mary.

St. Louis de Montford, St. Maximilian Kolbe, Blessed John Paul II and Blessed Mother Teresa knew that the quickest way to become a saint is through a relationship with Our Blessed Mother, Mary.

In this study, you’ll why!

For more information on Marian consecration, see this post on the program to be held at Holy Cross beginning February 21.

      1. Just to let you know, the Feast of the Annunciation falls on March 26th this year.
It was shifted so that it won’t coincide with the 5th Sunday of Lent.
Therefore, the Consecration should actually start on February 22nd, which happens to be Ash Wednesday.

        1. Hey, you’re right! Nice catch.

Actually, the program is flexible so we can accommodate extra days. It worked out to start the groups on a Tuesday. We do have another group starting on Wednesday night though so that will work out great.

          Thanks for the feedback.
