Religious Liberty is a hot topic these days.
The U.S. Bishops just issued a statement regarding the recent attacks on Catholic religious liberty in our country.

His main point is that religious liberty is one of the most fundamental rights we have as human beings. It reaches down to the deepest level of the person.
Tyrants have always gone after religious liberty first because they want to dominate the mind and soul as well as the body. They want to have control of that sacred place where only God should be supreme.
This is something that shouldn’t be ignored. In a free society, it ought to be everyone’s concern. Not just Catholics.
It’s an issue that reaches down to the deepest part of who we are as human beings and our most fundamental right.
