About the event
The Easter Vigil Mass is celebrated after nightfall on Holy Saturday to celebrate the Resurrection. It consists of four parts: the Service of Light (blessing fire and lighting the Paschal candle), the Liturgy of the Word (telling salvation history), the Initiation of new members (Baptism/Confirmation), and the Holy Eucharist.
